"Wyoming is... a place of rodeos, wildlife, scenic roads, and towns where you can truly feel the spirit of the Old West. And somehow, I’m lucky enough to call a piece of it “home”. I’m about to begin my fourth summer season working in Yellowstone National Park, and it still feels surreal. Living here has given me the chance to explore this extraordinary place in a way few people can. Yellowstone isn’t just a park to me, it’s the best chapter of my life."

"Taking the Staten Island Ferry was one of the best free experiences in NYC. As the boat pulled away from Manhattan, the skyline stretched out behind me, a perfect postcard view. The real highlight was passing the Statue of Liberty. Seeing it up close from the deck, with the wind in my face and the water shimmering around it, felt surreal. Everyone rushed to snap photos, but I just stood there, taking it in."

"Spending the summer as a camp counselor in northern Wisconsin through CCUSA was honestly one of the best experiences of my life. I didn’t know much about the area before I arrived, but it totally surprised me in the best way. Between the peaceful lakes, cute towns, and nonstop outdoor fun, it turned into a summer I’ll never forget."

“There was a professional rodeo in Sheridan last Saturday, so I went with my coworkers. The highlight of that rodeo is wild Indian relay races, where different Indian tribes compete against each other riding bareback. The best thing for me to see was Budweiser Clydesdale horses. After the rodeo, there was a street dance. It is pretty neat, cause there's different bands playing and the whole downtown part of Sheridan was closed for traffic.”

“About 3 times a night we were on the beach watching the stars. It was wonderful to watch stars falling. My next new friend is an American football player and taught me the rules as I know them now. Last week we went whale watching, it was a half-day trip on the boat and it was wonderful I had never seen so big an animal."

“I went to Yellowstone National Park (Wyoming). It was amazing, wonderful, spectacular... I went hiking in the trails that we have near the housing. In the park, we saw many animals that we don't have in our countries, we met each other, had fun, took pictures and walked a lot. I have seen Bison, Elks, Moose, Fox, Hot Natural Pools, Geysers... I love this place.”

"Went shopping at Walmart for the first time—honestly, it was a bit overwhelming at first with how massive the place is. You can literally find everything from groceries to bike tires in one spot. Not something we really have back home, so it was kind of wild but super convenient."

"I celebrated 4th of July by going to a reunion (party) at a friend’s house in Richmond. There was a lot of food and a lot of people. I saw the fireworks. I went to Washington DC two weeks ago. I saw the White House, and visited three or four museums because they were all next to each other. I also saw the Lincoln Memorial and took a lot of pictures! I learned how to play rugby here. We played Rugby and American football, that was good. I am still playing Soccer with my coworkers and supervisors."
